Happy 2022!

I’m yet again heading into another new year full of hope and optimism that our world will be in a better place this year.  I’m so grateful for all of the time I was able to spend with family and friends over the past year and I’m going to continue to make that a priority in 2022.  As I’m writing this, I’m waiting for Andrew to wake up so we can do our yearly goal setting session.  We both put advance work into our goals for this year and I’m really looking forward to reviewing last year’s goals and planning ahead (specifically when it comes to budgeting).  In addition to the new year, we’re also celebrating because New Year’s Eve was the first day we were able to emerge from quarantine after catching very mild cases of Covid due to an outbreak in Andrew’s office.  It was so nice to get back out and to be able to end the New Year visiting Hudson Yards and Bryant Park.  The lights at Hudson Yards are simply unmatched.  Sadly Van Leeuwen was out of peppermint stick ice cream, but I did get a new dress at Madewell! And while Bryant Park was rather crowded, it was so worth it for the delicious food we got!
