I did something I usually try very hard not to do when it comes to book hauling, but I bought a couple of full series without having read the first book.  Here’s the thing, indie romance authors are getting picked up by traditional publishers in droves which means that the original covers are going out of print.  I never know if I’m going to like the new covers better or if they’ll be terrible so I took a chance.  Here’s to hoping that I’ll like my picks! I also received two of my most anticipated books of the year: 1) (physically) Cassandra Clare’s first adult epic fantasy novel set outside of the world of the Shadowhunters. I’m so excited to read something new from her and I’m hoping I’ll love it! 2) Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree (digitally) – I’m all about the cozy fantasy and I cannot wait to read another Viv adventure set in the same world as Legends & Lattes! And as always, I had a number of lovely special editions show up this month!
